A Massachusetts State Trooper spotted the stolen vehicle in the area of Morrissey Boulevard and Freeport Street in Dorchester on the morning of Tuesday, June 14, police said on Twitter.
When the officer tried to stop the driver, he crashed into three other cars and tried to run away. The suspect was later taken into custody on Ashland Street, police said.
Meanwhile one of the other drivers involved in the crash was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. The incident shut down the intersection as a result.
